Why it stands out
The 2021 Toyota Highlander Hybrid distinguishes itself with a powerful combination of practicality and efficiency in the midsize SUV segment. Its redesign brought forth a hybrid engine that achieves an impressive EPA rating of 36 mpg in combined driving, while maintaining a robust output of 243 horsepower. This blend of power and efficiency is coupled with a spacious interior, accommodating up to eight passengers, although the third-row seating might be a little snug for taller adults. The Highlander Hybrid also comes equipped with Toyota's Safety Sense 2.5+, enhancing its appeal with advanced driver-assist features that focus on passenger safety. While it excels in efficiency and technology, drive enthusiasts may find it lacks the spirited performance of some competitor models. However, for families prioritizing comfort and fuel savings, it remains a top contender.

Great car with good fuel economy. Not perfect as it’s a tight 3rd row but for shorter people it’s passable and fine for small children. No 3row suv in its class has a large 3rd row. I wanted a hybrid and Toyota is the most reliable
