Why it stands out
The 2021 Toyota Highlander Hybrid stands out for its impressive blend of spaciousness, fuel efficiency, and advanced safety features. Redesigned for the 2020 model year, the Highlander Hybrid benefits from a contemporary look and improved technology, making it a compelling choice in the midsize SUV market. Its hybrid powertrain delivers up to 36 mpg in combined driving, a significant upgrade from its predecessor, which makes it an ideal vehicle for families focused on economy without sacrificing space. This vehicle comfortably accommodates up to eight passengers, though some may find the third row a bit cramped. While it excels in practicality—featuring almost 85 cubic feet of cargo capacity and a suite of driver-assist technologies—some drawbacks include a less engaging driving experience and average performance under heavy acceleration. Overall, it offers significant value for those seeking a family-friendly SUV with a strong emphasis on fuel economy and safety.

Great car with good fuel economy. Not perfect as it’s a tight 3rd row but for shorter people it’s passable and fine for small children. No 3row suv in its class has a large 3rd row. I wanted a hybrid and Toyota is the most reliable
