I learned of a major flaw in the Murano . The rear crossmember rusts out on many of these making a very dangerous situation that could cause driver to lose control of vehicle if the part fails. This should be a factory recall.Apr 27, 2021

This model is amazing, for its age it has many amazing features, especially in the SV, SL, and Premium trims. It has many of the basic capabilities that a modern car has with the benefit of being a perfect car for those who need a car on a budget, or for those who are looking for a first car for their teenager. I've been pleased. I'd encourage everyone to own a Murano if you want a smaller SUV that's reliable and looks nice. The gas mileage is good but not great. I have rarely had it in the shop except for the typical oil change.Sep 01, 2013

Car looks nice. Front is aggressive for a crossover. Interior is like a luxury car. Beautiful inside and great looks outside. Take off torque could be a little better, but no complaints once you're moving. Passes without hesitation, and very smooth with the CVT.Mar 24, 2013

Very reliable and gets great gas mileage for an AWD. Traded GMC Acadia for Murano. Only things I miss are rear backup sensors and onstar. Other than that, the Nissan has the GM beat on quality and reliability hands down. This is fun to drive and it handles well in all weather situations.Nov 06, 2010

The CVT transmission is so smooth. I don't know how I ever did without it. It handles beautifully. I think no car is worth over $20 grand but I was happy to pay it with this one. I love it so much!Jan 04, 2010
