I like everything about this car. Great options. This car is in great condition. Has no rust, just a couple of dings. This car also has tons of extras added to it. I love this car and have had it for around 2 months now and have had absolutely no problems with it. It is my first car and I am really excited for when I turn 16. With the manual transmission it is very fun to drive. Aug 25, 2012

My car has very quick acceleration, on the spot braking, and amazing handling. I don't have any problems handling because my car has power steering. My car has needed some repairs, but like all Hondas, parts are very easy to get ahold of and affordable. This is a very sound car, even on long road trips. I have taken it to New York and back with no problems. I am very pleased with the gas mileage I get out of my car. I can easily get 35 mpg. Fixing my car is about the easiest as they come. Although it may be a four door, it's very comfortable and spacious. I love driving this car! It is so much fun and it sounds great as well! Oct 31, 2011

This car gets between 33 and 40 miles per gallon. As such, any issues are irrelevant when trying to save money. It takes unleaded fuel. The oil is not synthetic. The ride is not too stiff or too spongy. Instead it's a comfortable ride and inexpensive. Definitely a great car to drive if you don't care too much about appearance or the dirty looks you get from larger vehicles' drivers.Aug 03, 2010

I've had it since i was 15 and it is fun to drive it has been a project for me. It performs good for what it is, it has a sohc non vtec with a built head , ported and polished head, aggressive cam, reflashed ecu, air intake, exhaust, header, sway bars all around, short shifter, lowered, full polyurethane suspension, that's all i can think of , it looks pretty good, most people say it looks good and they like but others dont , which is fine by me, i am open to any personal opion anyone has. it's just a really fun car to drive, i got hit twice by neglagent drivers and it was their faults but iam working on getting it put back together.Jul 16, 2010

It is excellent on gas milage, but has bad acceleration!!! You will definitely not pay as much for gas as you would for other cars!! But the power in the car is not the greatest, unless you add some performance parts. Jun 29, 2010

Fun car to drive, good gas mileage, very reliable, and
unique. Exceptional car for being an 18yr old car.
Gotta have the 5 speed tranny with this car, not a lot
of get up and go, but there are a lot of engine options
out there (i.e. B16, B18, k20, etc.).Mar 16, 2010

Honda civic 1992'" 4 - door carried a 1.6-liter ,
Fuel Economy is one of the best thing on the Honda brand.
Great gas mileage, and performance. One of the best engines on a small car, easy tune-up.... and I like it a lot. Mar 10, 2010

Love my old little red '93 Honda Civic Si hatchback! Spent thousands of dollars on upgrade on sound system and high performance parts (cold air intake pipe, performance exhaust system, etc). Great fuel economy and handle extreme well. Never had any expensive repairs just regular maintenance! Well built by Honda Canada! :)
Unfortunately, sold my Civic to a friend because starting a new family. I'm miss her very much! Feb 20, 2010

Performance - D15B7 Automatic Transmission, Not very fast, Good car to go from point A to point B. Suspension is decent as long as you dont use 17, 18 Rims (makes the car have a rough drive). The breaking is decent.
Build Quality - Thin sheet Metal, Easy to get dents, Oil does burn if your Piston Rings are not in good shape.
Appearance - Interior is mostly all plastic. The stock Seats feel very comfort, has room for 2 more people in back. Decent trunk space.
Cost of Ownership - 24 dollars to fill the tank every week.
Fun Factor - Fun car to modifiy and swap engines for beginner Tuners.Feb 14, 2010

It is great as a daily driver; cheap to buy and maintain. Not very powerful, but it also doesn't weigh much. May be modified extensively, so check before purchasing. Very fuel-efficient, even with poor driving habits. Fun to toss around town! Jan 25, 2010

I like the ease of working on it. No rust. Nice color. Sweet sound system. Good gas milage. Cheap to own. Doesn't break down. Needs more power. Crappy side mirrors. Needs a bit of touch up on the outside. Bla bla bla bla cla.Jan 07, 2010

Performance:
Acceleration - decent for a 1.5L, But it will be a ton better once I get my new engine in.
Braking - Never Have any problems stopping it
Handling - It takes corners like a champ.
Quality - Never have any problems with it, no matter what
Appearance - I like the look. But there's still a few things I'd like to change.
It's a really easy car to take care of. The gas mileage is awesome and overall I've just a fun car to have and drive.Oct 11, 2009

handles like no other, light weight with easy modifications for some real get up and go. the stock 1.5liter i4 engine dosent seem like much but it gets around and the car will take newer larger engines (as if it really needed them) the car can basically be rebuilt with performance parts for much less than buying a new high performance carAug 19, 2009

this car is more than capable of taking you to hell and back
with minimal problems. it has the best gas mileage 48 to55
mpg. It has amazing acceleration for only having 92 horse
power thanks to its V-TEC E. its looks are clean inside and out
and handles better than most cars. maintenance is very
affordable. This car is pure fun.Jul 21, 2009

Performance - Modified engine and suspension so things got better
Build Quality - Freaking bubbles accumulate on roof, tough engine, tough suspension
Appearance - I love the way it looks, very sleek, you don't have to go extreme lengths to make it look good, sometimes just lowering it will do the job...of course i did more to it that just lowering it :)
Cost of ownership - Parts a bit expensive
Fun Factor - Due to my modified suspension its fun to driveJun 19, 2009

Great Car!
Excellent gas mileage, zippy, reliable and sound. Small car cons include interior road noise and a sometimes a harsh ride. With a 5 speed manual, I would regularly get 40-45 on the freeway and 30 city mileage.Jan 02, 2009

I bought this car about 3 weeks ago and I love it! Top package you could get in 1993. Power sunroof, mirrors, power steering. Runs and drives strong! Can't ask for much more power from a 1.6L Inline-4. When VTEC kicks in, you better hold on, cause she purrs like a kitten. Very good on gas also. Only costs me $25 (ish) to fill the tank, and it lasts me quite a long time. It's also very reliable, as I drive it pretty hard every day, and she's still holdin up for me! By far the best car I've ever owned. Then again, I haven't owned an S2000.... yet.Dec 02, 2008

I like the car very very much. It looks great with a body kit and stuff, and the stock engine is good for it's size. It brakes fine. I wouldn't really call this a "safe" car. It has no chasis, um..the car would just crumple upon impact. Never squeaked/rattled. Great, great gas mileage! I would recommend this for someone looking for a fuel efficient, reliable car.Aug 10, 2008

I had this car for a little over a year before I sold it to my brother. I loved this car. It handled nice, got 40 mpg, was fun to drive, and easy to work on. Mine had a D16A6 swap and made 100 whp, it wasn't fast especially with the cx gearbox but was still fun to drive. It now has an Si tranny and is much quicker. The car was super easy to work on, I replaced the transmission and one of the axles all by myself.Feb 25, 2008

This is my fully build drag Civic modified for more than $25k. It's running in the danish allmotor FWD street class and is currently the fastest car in the class. It does the QM in 11.35 @ 124.7 mph on an unprepped track.Jan 27, 2008

Ridiculously reliable and great on gas. Its also reasonably fun to drive, especially when 4500rpms comes around the VTEC kicks in. It gets around 30-35mpg in city or highway conditions. Furthermore its still got competitive acceleration, when from a dig the car can 0-60 in a little over 6 seconds.Jan 07, 2008
