I can hear the engine from inside

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So every time I drive I have to turn my
music up loud because I can hear the
engine from the inside of the car. Nothing's
wrong with the engine and it doesn't have
turbo or anything either. Anything I can do
to make it to west I don't hear it from
inside?

Stop in at an exhaust shop and have the exhaust looked at.

If it is exhaust noise then an exhaust shop most likely can help, but if it is a different type of sound like engine grounding noises then it is possible bad engine mounts, also check your sound deading mats under the hood, sometimes birds, mice, squirrels like this material for nests and can strip it away in no time. If everything checks good that I have mentioned you can add sound deading material to the engine compartment. HTH
