MY LEXUS WON'T START JUST A LONG CLICKING SOUND I CHANGED STARTER STILL WON'T START . ANY IDEAS

Could be a low battery, or bad battery connections. Make sure the battery is charged, and that the battery connections are clean and tight.

Hey I’m just trying to find out did you find out what was wrong with your leg says I have a 98 300 GS and I were having the same problem battery is fine brand new and the starter is brand new and still had the same problem click click so if you can help me out too please thank you

Same problem for me but was fixed but using a razor blade to clean the negative battery cable it was oxidized heavily but after it was scraped down to bare metal it started up fine

To the clicking post, All you need is a new battery in the key fob. Problem solved.That is if you have a key fob

Shouldn’t the car start even with a dead fob?

It wont start with a dead fob if it is keyless entry and my keless entry just did what you described called the dealer changed battery, all is good
