94 ES300 Driver Door Lock Issue

My '94 ES300 drivers door locks manually and with the fob
but can still be opened from the outside.  No issues with
opening the door from either inside or outside.  Just wont
lock.

I have the same issue. I think the rod that hooks up to the handle is too stiff with the plastic snap pice that holds the rod in place. There is a curve to the rod for a little play but now that I replaced the snap lock it’s too stiff and always opens the door
