full synthetic OIL?

Can I Use Mobil Full synthetic oil (5w x 20)  when the oil cap says (5w x 30) ??

It is not recommended to use any other oil grade that what in your owners manual. Especially if you want your engine to last. It can decrease gas mileage and general performance of your motor.
