how do i know if the gears are bad in the odometer and trip counter of my 1995 tbird lx

Hello, Personally, I would bring it in to a mechanic for an estimate. He can diagnose the problem, and it might be much less expensive in terms of time and money to leave it with him. If you'd rather do this on your own, then you would want to find out what else is on the same fuse as the odometer, and see if there are any problems with it. Best of luck! CarGrrl
