The 2005 Ford Thunderbird continued the two-seater tradition with its typical sharp-yet retro-convertible. Considered a luxury vehicle, prices for a new T-Bird started in the high 30's. The standard engine was a 3.9-liter V8. The engine is a little loud, as is typical for V8's, but the all-around drive is fun and smooth. The car pays proper respect to its predecessors, with round headlights over a grille that can look like it's either smiling or snarling, depending on how fast the little roadster is coming up behind you.

Beautiful design and great driving vehicle. Very comfortable but little hard for older person to get into and out of.

I have a 2005 50th anniversary edition. 93,000 miles. Great car, fun to drive all original (except tires and brakes) gives no trouble and gets around 18 mpg around town.

I personally dont like the white hard top on the red car. The monotone exterior is usually the sleekest.

Love the style, comfort and performance. The T-bird is a "soft" sports car, it is fun to drive, it has great acceleration and is a perfect highway cruiser. Very, very reliable, and cheap to maintain. Ford's quality is for real!
