The mileage is definitely excessive for the age of the vehicle! It was driven about 26,000 miles per year. Average is 10,000 to 15,000 per year. Is this a company car? Are these highway miles? Do you have maintenance records? Unless you're somehow familiar with this particular car I wouldn't buy it! My '03 S10 had 264,000 miles on it when I bought it, for $300. in 2011. But it was a company truck and I knew it from day one. It now has 281,000 on it and is still going strong. But it was well maintained. I say try and get your $200 back and keep shopping. HTH. - Jim

Car makes a squeeling noise driving down the road. gets worse when turning to the right. Sounds like a grinding noise. I'm not sure if it's a wheel bearing. I need some ideas. thanks
