how can I put in the transmission shifter from the collar to the floor

Remove linkage rods from tranny,cut hole in center of base in floor to fit shifter spec,s,then mount shifter to tranny,

Some of the bigger online auto parts catalogs have conversion kits for sale. They come with instructions. Do a bit of on line research. It will help and even find ones that show how to step by step. Have fun.
