Took them over five weeks to pick up vehicle and the communications were terrible, we actually non existent. Want be doing business with them again.

From start to finish selling my car to CarGurus was not near as clean and easy as it was to sell to carvana. First off, the company booked me for a day that I was able to move my schedule, canceling my plans to have my vehicle picked up. However, they called back and rescheduled me for a day that did not work. Then rescheduled me for another day. And again rescheduled me back to the day I originally planned. I was rescheduled four times.
On the day of pick up, I got a call saying the driver was on their way. Then another call saying the driver would be late. Then another call saying the driver was here. After taking pictures of my car and the gentleman driving off in my car, the driver called again and said they would arrive in 20 minutes.
Turns out I was double booked with two different pickup companies.
The associate picking up my car was not very knowledgeable about the process. My paperwork was made out incorrectly.
Carguru associate called me telling me I should have given the associate my return envelope that I did not receive.

I did get paid the day of, and my car loan is paid off so in that aspect I was happy. Hopefully ill never have to deal with the headache of cargurus again.

Got rescheduled 4 times. No body calls you till after your pick up time. Then when they pick up the vehicle and finalize everything it took 7 days for the funds to show up.

Horrible experience

Horrible, horrible, horrible process.

Get the offer, accept and wait a week for papers to be mailed - finally get them sent on a Thursday for delivery the following Monday with pickup scheduled Monday.

Monday comes - driver calls and papers not here yet - says call me when they arrive. 10a papers here and call/text - ok it will be later in the afternoon. Wait all day - no driver - no call/no text. Call CarGurus - sorry we need to reschedule and forgot to tell you.

Can’t do it again until Saturday- early as 9-11a - fine. Saturday rolls around and 11:15 still no call/text - call again - moved to 10-12 noon. Still nothing at noon and getting tired of waiting…..call and CarGurus has no idea on location of their driver - trying to locate and they will not answer.

At 2p a person on foot shows up at my door - says I’m here about the car. Asked who they are with/what they are talking about - says again I’m supposed to get the car - give me the keys. Call CarGurus - they have no idea who this person is.

Asked for ID - none, asked why she showed up 4 hours late - “there was a tornado” - where - it’s perfectly sunny here …in Oklahoma where. CarGuris is - they don’t let us work when the weather is bad there (?!?).

Horrible experience with delays, excuses and lies / never again.
