my car performance is quite good,it has been
repaired by my father.The body is having a bad
rusting.In and out appearance is still old.It has
been a long time this car neva undergo
maintenance.This car is fun to drive as i can feel

I bought this car in 1985 for $100. It had 150000 miles on it.This car was my only transportation for 3 years I put 15 inch wheels off a celica which slowed its turtle like take off a bit, but brought its top speed up to 95 I put an additional 100000 and the frame broke, with the help of a old bed frame drove a little longer and sold for $60, Took off my tag removed my battery and thumbed home sure miss that car!!! this is to date the most fun i had on 4 wheels. the 2TC engine paired with the 5 speed transmission move the car along quite well, you must be careful when cornering not to over steer the car because of the rear wheel drive. the body is very pleasing to the eye, and has more room than expected on the interior. with after market wheels and high performance tires this little car moves like a slot car, and attracts a lot of attention. I'm not sure if that's the right model, but it was a KE20 rally car.. damn awesome. but i sold it and the guy who bought it blow it up.. unfortunately. damn good engine in it too. great car for anyone!Oct 21, 2009

i have nbo dislike. love my sr corolla love it, super fast. it's got a 3t crank on a2t block. twin 45's weber. headworks w/ match port, x-42 cams. 4:1 exhaust on 2.5" diameter & 36" headers. shoes P7 on minilites.Oct 20, 2009

Performance was average. build quality ok. Bit of a rust bucket. Appearance was attractive nice sleeky lines. Cost me nothing to run, very cheap on the fuel (at the time) Very fun car to drive. Now turned into spaghetti cans!Jun 28, 2009

like the shape but dont like the power.. its a really fragile so must really do attention with arms so clearly... the shape is really nice i realy like peanuts models of ke20

Mods: full rebuild 5 years ago (specs unknown), all engine standart, KB karby, 4-1 extractors, 1,5 inch exhaust.
Driveline: 5 speed, standart clutch, 4.1 locker.
Brakes: Standard.
Suspension: short stroke front shocks, suzuki futura front springs, reset leaves.
Wheels: 13x7 Globe rims, 175/70 tyres.
Exterior: ivory paint, most original (great condition), some resprayed, minor rust in lhs front guard cut out and replaced with new metal,
Interior: original rear seat no rips, absolute mint condition, RECARO front seats, reshaped and retrimmed to match, 120Y gear knob

We owned this car from new.it was bought in october 1973 and it is still with its original engine..63600 miles on the clock. The model is the 1200 coupe sl fitted with 2 twin Aisin carburattors and 10:1 compression ratio. Its interior is pretty luxurious, it boast a wooden dashboard, sporty instrumenatation, seat belts.
