Used 2024 Subaru Legacy for Sale nearNew York, NY

How much does the 2024 Subaru Legacy cost?

Prices have softened 2.12% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,052 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Subaru Legacy a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Subaru Legacy earns a user rating of 5/5, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview frames it as a midsize sedan with standard all-wheel drive, strong safety content, and a value-oriented used-car profile, especially if you want all-weather confidence without paying as much as some rivals. It also emphasizes a more spacious interior, a quieter cabin, and a more comfortable ride than earlier impressions of the model might suggest. With 36.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2024 Subaru Legacy reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview points to a model that leans on standard all-wheel drive, a safety-focused reputation, and a well-developed final-generation design. It also highlights the seventh generation as the safest and most technically advanced version of the Legacy, with a stiffer chassis, better ride quality, and a quieter cabin. For used buyers, that suggests the main long-term ownership risk is less about the concept of the car and more about finding one that has been maintained well and not worn down by age or mileage.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Subaru Legacy?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully so you can confirm the car’s background and spot any prior damage or title issues. Put the inspection focus on overall condition, since a used sedan’s value depends heavily on how well it has been cared for. Pay close attention to signs of wear in the cabin and to how the car drives, because a clean-looking listing can still hide maintenance or cosmetic issues.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Subaru Legacy?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,052 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.12% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,734, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Subaru Legacy's resale value?

The current average of $24,661 sits slightly below last year's $25,196.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you as a buyer but may temper what a future seller can expect in the near term. Because the model is already trading below its prior-year average, resale value will likely depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car is presented. A clean, well-kept example should still hold more appeal than one with visible wear or a rough history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Subaru Legacy or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.12% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2024 if you want the most polished version of this final-generation Legacy and you value standard all-wheel drive, strong safety content, and a comfortable daily-driving experience. If your main goal is to minimize purchase price, a nearby model year may be worth a look, but the 2024 is the better fit when you want a newer used example with solid market availability and a favorable price trend.
