Why it stands out
The 2019 Toyota Tundra remains a strong contender in the full-size pickup segment, thanks to its impressive powertrain options and reputation for reliability. One of its key strengths lies in the powerful V8 engines, with performance metrics that cater to both towing and payload capacities—offering a maximum towing capability of up to 10,200 pounds with the larger engine option. Additionally, the return of the TRD Pro trim adds to its appeal by enhancing its off-road capabilities with upgraded suspension and specialized features designed for rugged terrain.
While the Tundra does have some notable limitations, such as an outdated infotainment system and less sophisticated technology compared to its competitors, many buyers appreciate its simplicity and dependability. It offers robust safety features as standard, ensuring peace of mind for families and work-site professionals alike. The model remains appealing to those who prioritize a straightforward, rugged design over luxury extras.

i have had a 2012 Tundra and 2017. They are a beast of a truck with soo much room. Two things i would change and thats probably it. They NAVIGATION system is the weakest on the market. The screen and apps are actually really bad. Reason why i didnt purchase another one in December. The second would be the gas mileage. I guess that comes with the beefiness of the truck. If the Nav was better, i would trade my truck in tomorrow to get another one.

If the technology inside was updated, I’d give it 5 stars. A little bulky but definitely a work mule of a truck.
