Check for vacuum leaks. Especally at the intake manifold. It could also be an exhaust leak that's ahead of the upstream O2 sensor. Causing the computer to think that it's running lean. This can happen when fresh air is drawn into the exhaust system from a leak. However, since it's overheating I suspect that it really is running lean. Remove the spark plugs. If the electrodes (tips) are white it's definitely running lean. Any misfire codes (P0300, P0301, P0302, etc.)? HTH. -Jim
