You would be best off to buy a manual that will give you step-by-step instructions. I've always had the safety and convenience of a hoist and an engine cradle. You will need to unbolt the motor mounts from the bottom and raise the motor so you can clear the cradle and the block. As I recall, there are three mounts on that vehicle. A novice do-it- yourselfer can do it but PLEASE be careful. You are lifting and manipulating the entire weight of the engine and the transmission. I realize that it costs money but, any competent shop can do the job quickly and safely - no dealer required!
