I have a 2004 Kia Sorento, 2WD, automatic. It has a vibration/roar at 72 to 75 MPH.
The vibration/roar comes in at about 72 MPH and goes away at about 75MPH (2800 RPM). It is crankshaft/driveshaft speed ...... not like a wheel brg nor tire. I replaced all 3 u-joints and the driveshaft center support ..... no change. I recently overhauled the engine (about 4,000 miles ago) and replaced the balancer bolt with the one called for in their bulletin and torqued it accordingly. In neutral, engine RPM at 2800, no vibration at all, just as with any RPM in neutral. The problem just seemed to occur without anything to cause it.
I have Kia Sorento 2004 and mine does this at 50mph in 5th gear. No idea what cause is
