2017 Honda Civic Warning Lights

Asked by May 17, 2017 at 10:14 AM about the 2017 Honda Civic LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

One day after I bought my brand new 2017 Honda Civic, several warning lights
appeared on the dash while driving; including check engine, vehicle stability
assist, electronic power steering, and low tire pressure. I called my dealership
and they had my car towed. The only answer they are giving me is that it was
an intermittent failure and that it has been reset... Intermittent failure of what?
What has been reset? I have no idea. Has anyone heard of this before/ know
what actually is wrong?

BCM. sometimes when new a unit can get conflicting information due to constant starts and stops during pre-delivery of the vehicle so then it needs reset by the dealer, this usually cures the problem, but keep a close tabs on it just to make sure it isn't something underlying in the wiring. If it doesn't return in a month then it's most likely fixed.
