Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard, and cars equipped with the larger display get wireless connectivity. A 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster is available, offering some degree of configuration, but not to the level that Volkswagen and Audi provide with the Virtual Cockpit system. The 2023 Civic earned a Top Safety Pick+ designation from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). This included “Good” scores in all crash test areas except for the IIHS’ new side crash test, where the Civic earned an “Acceptable” score. The car’s headlights earned a “Good” score, and its front crash prevention systems earned “Superior” ratings.
