i just replaced the starter on my 93 honda civic vx. The car started fine &i i drove it about 10 miles and then it just cut off and wont restart. i can hear the fuel pump cut on. what could be wrong?
those are notoriuos to have a bad distributor rotor, cap, or coil, most just replace the distributor, do u know how to check for spark? also the starter i believe is bellow the distributor is it possible u left ground or power wire loose? double check
you might have loosened up a plug to something and lost all connection 10 miles away.I changed a starter on a car and unplugged the cam sensor somehow so i would check the wiring on and around your starter.
HI Between the the block and the exhaust theirs are some wires that may be rubbing on the exhaust do to the vibration of the motor and wheir the wire n makes a short on it shut the engine off. It will start n run good until it rubs again. good luck
check your starter ground
