My expo not starting

Hello my name is bob ,a family member of
mine just pick up a 2001 XLT expo THE
VEHICLE WUZ BOUGHT FROM A private
PARTY,WELL HERE IT IS THIS EXPO HAD
BELONG TO A POLICE DEPARTMENT ANY
HOW THIS vehicle HAD TONS OF
UNWANTED WIRS FOR SIRES,LIGHTS,FANS
EX,NOW I WENT HEAD VERY CAREFULLY&
STARTED TO REMOVE SUM OF THE WIRES
THAT WERE LIFT UNDER THE PASSENGERS
SEAT,ONCE AGIN I WUZ VERY CAREFUL
WHILE REMOVEING THEM FROM UNDER
THE DASH ASWELL,NOW MY ISSUE IS
AFTER DOING THAT THE VEHICLE DROVE
FINE FOR HALF MILE AT THAT POINT THE
IT SHUT DOWN LOOSENING ALL THE
POWER TO THE ignition, OUTSIDE LIGHTS  
ALONG WITH THE INSIDE LIGHTS WORK
FINE ,SO I HAVE A KEY THATS TURNS AND
DOES NOTHING AND NO GAUGES R
MOVING AS WELL,IT  DOESNT EVEN CRANK
ITS LIKE THERES NO BATTERY IN THE
EXPO,SO PLZ  I HOPE SUMBODY REALLY
CAN HELP ME FIGURE THIS OUT.THANK
YOU.

Sounds like when removing the wires, you created a "short to ground", or a loose or rubbed insulation is contacting the metal body. You will need to start probing with your multi-meter to see where the issue is. Electrical issues are labor intensive and hard to find. Good Luck.
