the pedal dose not seem to as high as it used to be.the only brake work done is front brake pads,I suspect its the master cylinder,what do you think...

My 96 Ford Thunderbird will not engage any gear including neutral no matter where the shifter is. It is stuck in park. I was wondering what are the problems that could cause this? My 2005 Thunderbird check engine light has been on for months. It has been to shop over and over. They have replaced the battery, changed some sort of sensor, the gas cap is tight and I filled the tank completely and also had the oil changed. They keep saying the scanner says it needs a new map sensor but they then checked with the local Ford dealer who said the car doesn't have a map sensor. What's up? 5 answers
