Ok, you have a fuel supply problem. Start with the simple stuff like a fuel filter. Pull it off and blow through it or better still - replace it. You may have a fuel pump that is failing - does it have dual tanks? Same results on both tanks? There is a fuel pump relay either on the firewall or near the fuse box. There should be at least 2 relays together: AC (if equipped), EEC Power and (the green one) is fuel. You didn't state engine size but I am assuming it's a fuel injected 5.0L. Your truck may have 2 fuel pumps: low pressure pump(s) in the tank(s) and a high pressure pump on the frame rail under the cab. One last thing to include is the inertia or impact switch. Just above your left kick panel is a small black plastic box with a red button. If you press the button and it clicks, you're in business. Sometimes they get tripped by releasing tha parking brake.
