Asked by Feb 20, 2019 at 05:28 PM about the 1988 Chrysler New Yorker Landau

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 88 new yorker, 3.0 litre v6. the car will stall
if not enough gas but will flooder very easy, I've
replaced fuel pump, filter and ignition coil as well
as all new plugs and wires, I've narrowed it down to
it maybe being an air problem so I replaced the
map sensor and still nothing new. please help!!

Idle air control valve, faulty injectors, incorrect timing. Ok, I'll stop there. Your mechanic needs to see if there are any codes that will help direct him to a solution. But there are myriad possibilities for a flood/stall scenario.
