My 1987 Lincoln Town car rear lights

Asked by Mar 27, 2014 at 05:06 PM about the 1987 Lincoln Town Car Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Problem....My front high and low beams work. My brake lights work, as do my turn signals. Just when I turn on my lights the rear running lights don't work. Someone said it could be the switch on the dash?

Ford products do have problems with the headlight switch as well as the connector, pull out the switch to the first notch and check for park light operation, if they work in the front but not the rear then check the rear lamps and wiring, if they all work on the first notch but not with the headlights on, then the switch is bad.
