2013 Mini Cooper s all exterior lights come on when the car is started

Asked by Oct 25, 2014 at 10:12 PM about the 2013 MINI Cooper S

Question type: General

My 2013 Mini Cooper s daytime running lights are programmed to come on when I start
the car.  However, all the exterior lights come on; not just the running lights. I brought the
car in for service and asked they look at this.  The advisor told me there were no
computer indications of a problem.  The problem exists.  He said that this could be the
way the car works.  I don't thinks so.  Any thoughts or recommendations?  Anybody have
this problem? Thanks.

Disappearing options is a sign of the times, even the choice of whether to drive with headlights in broad daylight, sadly, and I wouldn't want a car with self lighting on the road to self driving. Why not just hold out til teleportation?
