I have a 2000 dodge neon 4 cyliner my tempature needle does not move ?

Asked by Aug 23, 2015 at 02:23 PM about the 2000 Dodge Neon 4 Dr ES Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i recently had a timing belt & water pump replaced and now temperature needle stopped
working . When I got the car returned to me the needle fluctuated very quickly and then
stopped working altogether. The engine is NOT overheating. Can you tell me why the
needle isn't working on the temp gauge?

Sounds like they forgot to plug the sending unit for the dash gauge back in. HTH. -Jim
