Yes it can, it just depends on if you want to pay the price, or scrap it and move on. If you thinking budget wise, sometimes it's cheaper to replace the engine with a good used one than fixing the one you have, it all depends on how much damage the engine has.

sure..anything can be fixed...if it didnt hit any valves repace the > 2.7 has a timing chain, the 3.2 and the 3.5 both use a timing belt
