can the trunk of the Crossfire be opened if the top is down?
I am about to purchase a 2005 convertible crossfire and would like to know if the trunk can
be opened with the top down?
I don't know- never had a crossfire- ask the owner? try it? ask CarGurus? (oh, wait, they don't know everything)- 'cept I can fake it- YES! YES YOU CAN!
Mark, I am buying from a dealer and when I test drove the car it was perfect, I loved it except when I tried to open the trunk with the top down it wouldn't open. Dealer said it couldn't be done which didn't make sense to me so I thought I would ask here.
The top when down leave no room for opening w/o top damage is why it doesn't open w the top down
Jamn blues bad day?
I own Crossfire roadster and when the top is down it takes up a good bit of the trunk space but it is still functional. The trunk does lock and unlock using the key fob. If the trunk won't open on the one you looked at then something is wrong and pass on buying it.
thank you rbp, your answer very helpful. I will contact the dealer in the morning.
...my brother owns a 2005 Roadster with a Mercedes turbo v8 he built...the trunk gets very small with the top down.
