What is wrong

Asked by Apr 09, 2016 at 01:34 PM about the 1997 Cadillac Eldorado Touring Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Okay so while driving with the AC on dust
started blowing through the vents then hot
water started pouring inside the car on the
driver side where the gas/brake pedals are.
Then when I got out I noticed there was
greenish stuff all on the ground outside. I
was told it was a heater hose that busted or
something like that but not sure. Does
anyone know what it might be and how to
fix it

Sounds more like the heater core busted the fitting off in side the heater box and that is why you got coolant inside the car and it the fitting then was pushed out into the engine compartment and sprayed coolant all over in there. So he heater core will have to be replaced, not recommended for a novice to do.
