Replacing rear window wiper 2010 Equinox

Asked by Jan 19, 2013 at 03:17 PM about the 2010 Chevrolet Equinox 1LT AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Can you tell me how to remove the rear window wiper blade and replace it?  Is there a part number for that wiper blade?  My local Auto Zone did not find a listing for the blade.

If you lift the rear wiper plastic casing off of the window... you can see the wiper blade inside (looks like a typical wiper inside). That wiper blade is being held in the casing by a clip in the middle. If you gently put a screwdriver between the casing & the blade on the side away from where it is attached to the card, you can easily run it until it pops out.

Your local AutoZone should have replacement blades that you cut to fit. I got some for my Wife's Saturn Outlook that were only $6.

I find that it is not in the books, but if you take it off and into the store, you should be able to match it up to the correct blade. (I don't remember what it is, but I've never had a problem doing it like that - I've replaced it twice)
