My 2010 Chevy Equinox has been a nightmare. I special ordered it brand new. Replaced a timing chain, replaced the complete air conditioner system. Burns oil. Did an oil test several times with the dealer. THey change the oil. I bring it back 1000 miles later. 1.5 quarts low and they tell me this is normal...SAY WHAT!!!. So yes, my car eats oil also. Now I have a leak in the car. I first noticed condensation on the inside windows. The dealer said they couldn't find anything. My mechanic said these cars are known to have water leaking around the roof rack. Cost me $200. The car is full of mildew and the smell transfers to my clothing when I am in it. Got in it last night and there was condensation on the inside windows again. The other night the heat/air blower would not shut off. When I needed it to work last night when the condensation was on the inside windows, it would not go on. I have 67,000 miles on this car and at my wits end. I need to trade it in big time but I first have to find the leak so I can get rid of the smell. This car has been a total piece of shit.

Here is my solution, my floor would get sopping wet after rains and snow on the passenger floor. What I did to fix it was a pulled the kick panel off and noticed that water would fill that cavity, so I drilled 3 holes so that the water would drain to the outside of the vehicle. I may have put a plug or something in so the water does not go into the passenger compartment. This completely fixed the problem. No more wet floor and no more condensation on the inside of windows
