Why it stands out
The 2023 Chevrolet Equinox continues to capture the attention of buyers seeking practicality and value in a compact crossover. It stands out with its sensible design and features that cater to everyday needs, making it a reliable option in its competitive class. This year, it has received a boost in engine performance with a 175-horsepower 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, a more sophisticated braking system, and the introduction of new color options. While it's not the most powerful vehicle on the market, its comfortable ride quality and ease of use make it appealing, especially for city driving. The interior, while utilitarian, offers ample passenger space and functionality, showing that the Equinox prioritizes practical needs over flash. Furthermore, its competitive pricing strategy positions it as an attractive option against rivals like the Honda CR-V and the Kia Sportage, despite lacking a hybrid variant, which might deter some eco-conscious buyers. Overall, the 2023 Chevrolet Equinox remains a solid contender for those looking for a dependable and affordable crossover.

The vehicle has everything I need and more. Previous model years have such a great resale value and I feel I will benefit from lower depreciation which makes it a better value. This SUV is beautiful and I always had good luck with Chevys so I did not consider any vehicles. I especially like the safety features such as lane departure emergency braking crash protection for other vehicles and pedestrians. The addition of the knee airbags is a great standard feature.
