Why it stands out
The 2023 Chevrolet Equinox maintains its appeal as a practical and affordable compact crossover in a competitive market. It has undergone some notable updates, such as a boost in engine output and the introduction of an advanced braking system. These enhancements don’t dramatically shift its performance characteristics, but they do improve the overall driving experience. Although the Equinox may not match the interior refinement of competitors like the Honda CR-V or the Mazda CX-5, its spacious cabin, user-friendly technology, and solid value proposition keep it relevant among buyers. With an array of safety features and decent fuel economy ratings of up to 26 mpg city and 31 mpg highway (for FWD models), the Equinox blends safety and practicality with capability. However, some may find its performance somewhat pedestrian, especially in more demanding driving situations.

Reviewed a 2023 Chevrolet Equinox on Dec 11, 2022
The vehicle has everything I need and more. Previous model years have such a great resale value and I feel I will benefit from lower depreciation which makes it a better value. This SUV is beautiful and I always had good luck with Chevys so I did not consider any vehicles. I especially like the safety features such as lane departure emergency braking crash protection for other vehicles and pedestrians. The addition of the knee airbags is a great standard feature.
