I am a new Prius owner. I inadvertently left the key in the ignition overnight. Will it harm the battery?

I accidentally left the key in the ignition of my 2009 Prius.  I am a brand new owner.  Will this harm the
battery or anything else?

If the ignition switch was left ON, it will put a drain on the battery, but will not harm anything. Drive some distance to charge the battery back up, or put it on a trickle charger/take to autozone to have them inspect it, charge it back up to full charge.
