I have a 2005 ford escape and recently the air quit blowing cold and then it started making a grinding noise near the belt and now it won't turn over. New Battery Whats Wrong?

One of the pulleys r accessory that drives the serpentine belt has failed. Either the belt tensioner, Alternator or A/C compressor.
