Your EVAP system purge valve may have failed and/or you may have continued to fill even after the gas station hose clicked off, if you continued to pump fuel while hose was clicking off this is over-filling the tank and floods the lines to engine. After a while it may start but if purge valve is bad it needs replaced, as well as the EVAP canister may have an issue or the vacuum line to those parts which may need replaced or repaired. Was this the first time anything like this has happened?

Had the same problem. It will have starting trouble only when I filled the gas. After a misdiagnosed (as a faulty MAP sensor...also read spending money to replace it) and EVAP test at the dealership, the mechanic told me it could be either Purge Control Valve or Canister Valve. On 07 Hyundai accent, it was relatively easy and cheaper to change Purge Control Valve, I took a chance and have it replaced. Never had that issue again.
