The Navigation System screen in my 2000 RL is blank most of the time

Asked by Mar 22, 2015 at 12:37 AM about the 2000 Acura RL 3.5L

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The Navigation System screen on my 2000 RL started acting up recently. When I started the car, intermittently the navigation system wouldn't turn on. Wait a day and it would work once but not again for a week or so. Then, I parked my car at the airport for one week and when I started it to drive home, the Navi System worked again that one time. The next day the screen just remained blank again when the car was started. No warning messages have been observed.

Sounds like a wiring connection is loose. Depending on the temperature of the car, it will work some days and not others.
