Have a 2001 chrysler town and country took it and had muffler fixed was doing fine. Then 4 days later was going down the highway and all the sudden my van did not want to stay running and the check engine light came on. Seemed like it had a bad mist. Took it to a mechanic and he coded injector number 6 bad. When he checked the wires the hot and ground wires were both hot. What could possibly be causing this?
Was the connector unplugged from the injector? The ECM supplies the ground in a pulse so it must be unplugged to check both the power and trigger signal, I still like using a Noid light set to check injector pulse. It is possible that the injector is bad.
