I have a 2002 Jaguar S-type. What does the warning "boot open" mean?
The English call the Trunk a Boot, so the Trunk is open or there is a failure in the Trunk or Boot switch.
I agree with tennisshoes....
If the bonnet was open it would be the hood
Right, Bonnet is Hood, Boot is Trunk.
And don't forget to check your petrol gauge... (Fuel) and your tyre pressure is important to get long life out of your tires.
