I have a 2007 Ford Mustang with automatic transmission with over drive. When I put my car into gear it goes for a little while and then makes a brushing sound and it slips out of gear

Hmm, have the car inspected by a reputable local trans shop or mechanic to inspect it. I hope it isn't time for a new trans, but sounds and slipping out a gear are not good. Usually not a fluid issue if you hear any noises.
