After change the cambelt on the car, fuel consumption has gone up what could the probelm

My Cam-belt and all the other belts were changed yesterday but now the fuel consumption has gone up. When the speed is below 60km/hr the car jacks as if it want to switch off. Please help? i think the timing is not correct. how can i fix this? The car is a Hyundai accent 2006 GLS

Who did the timing belt- they should fix it- it could have been installed improperly, or one of the sensors is disturbed, or broken-
