2003 vw beetle starts but dies thinking fuel
relay fuse?

Check your fuel pump relay, fuel pump fuse, and (the most likely cause) check your fuel filter. Clogged fuel filter will cause this problem and is a very cheap and easy fix. Doesn't hurt to grab a volt meter and check the relay before you pull the filter.
