Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My inside clock and temperature gauge are on ceiling below my moonroof. The clock works fine but the temperature light only shows ---------F and nothing else. What do I do?

Nothing- is it important?

If it is, it might be the wiring, the gauge or the temperature sensor is faulty. So like jamn mentioned, is it important to spend the money to have it diagnosed and repaired?
