i have a 1999 dodge ram 1500 318 replaced the ide sensor now will not idle down

Clear the computer of all codes, disconnect the battery negative for at least 20 minutes, reconnect battery, start engine and drive normally for about 30 minutes, this will tell the computer the engine demands and what type of systems are on your truck. Also make sure your throttle body and throttle plate are clean.
