My 2006 f150 wont start

Well its not the battery cause it will run as long as i dont turn it off. So that tells
me the battery is good along with the altenator.

not a good indication the battery is good. Check the voltage for us, post back what you measure.

The only thing that is telling you that the alternator is making enough power to keep it running, nothing else. Some parts stores can test a battery and charging system right in the rig, so call around and see if you can find one and get it tested then proced from there. If it does need a battery, on your rig make sure they use the saver tool just to keep your computer happy during the replacement.
