2001 Pontiac Grand Prix

Howdy, I have an 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix
3.8 non supercharged, that has an
intermittent engine issue. After about 5 to 8
minutes of running it feels like the engine
"thumps" It will happen at idle or 70 mph.
No error codes. Any help would be greatly
appreciated. 130000 miles well maintained

Check your motor mounts and transmission mounts. They're prone to failure. If one is broken the engine/transmission assembly may be shifting and causing the noise. HTH. -Jim
