How to remove speed limiter on 1998 Pontiac grand prix?

The computer (PCM) is programmed to limit vehicle speed. In order to do that, like for racing on a track for example, the PCM has to be reprogrammed. HTH. -Jim

It cannot be removed, but it can be changed, some dealers will change it for you if they feel it won't violate any federal or state law. Or you can buy a reprogrammer and do it yourself.
