I thought I had a flooded engine and I think I was wrong
So my car has been smelling of gas and been struggling to start up, I decided
to look for possible causes and flooded engine kept coming up, so I decided
to try what they all said, which was to press the gas and turn the ignition, after
doing so the car did nothing, the electronics are fine but it doesnt seem to
start, should i just wait it out or begin to panic.
So I gather that the engine does not turn over, if that is the case you will have too remove all the spark plugs and disable the ignition and then see if the engine will crank over, it maybe hydro-statically locked up, if it does spin over then see if it is fuel or coolant that comes out, that will make the decision on if you check the fuel supply system or the engines head gaskets.
